NOTE:
2004 Cobras require oxygen sensor extensions for installation. Ford relocated the rear oxygen sensors in all 2004 Mustangs so the factory wiring harness will not reach the oxygen sensors on any aftermarket mid-pipe. See BBK Oxygen Sensor Extensions.

Don't overlook your mid-pipe system's potential to make power. The Bassani SS X-pipe is a very important component of the overall exhaust system that Bassani manufactures for the Mustang. Its job is to improve performance by freeing up exhaust flow, maintaining much needed backpressure, and creating the exhaust note that is unique to the Bassani X-pipe.

Performance improvements are achieved by using high-flow catalytic converters and Bassani's smooth X-crossover. The Bassani SS X-pipe retains some of the deep rumble of the factory H-pipe but adds a higher-pitch element giving your exhaust tone more depth!
